last weekend was the fifth annual Tillman reunion! That's Alan's mother's side of the family. It was a great weekend, we headed over to Mississippi Friday night to stay with Alan's mom and his entire family, Alan was so happy to see his whole family; it's always a ball when we all get together for a weekend or holiday. The kids (Taylor - 17, Katherine - 13, Shelby - 15, and Chris who wasn't there :( ) spend most of the time outside playing with the dogs, climbing trees, or building forts in the woods, and the adults have a great time just hanging out and spending some much needed time picking on each other! :) True family love!
The reunion it self was great - wonderful food as always - Kenny, Alan's sister's husband, spent most of the morning making this amazing jambalaya - true Louisiana style; in this very large iron pot over a gas burner. It was a true sight to see! I think Alan wants one now! :) Here are some fun pictures of the weekend! We love you all!
